SAIGON VALVE CONGRATULATIONS ON THE 38TH YEARS OF ESTABLISHMENT OF THE VIETNAM WATER SUPPLY AND Drainage Association (June 7, 1988 - June 7, 2026)
38 Years Accompanying the Development of Vietnam's Water Industry
On the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Water Supply and Drainage Association (June 7, 1988 – June 7, 2026), Saigon Valve Co., Ltd. would like to extend our warmest congratulations to the Association's Leadership, member units, experts, and all those working in the water supply and drainage sector across the country.
We respectfully wish the Vietnam Water Supply and Drainage Association to continue promoting its tradition of solidarity, innovation, and creativity, growing increasingly strong, and making active contributions to the sustainable development of Vietnam's water sector in the new era.
On June 7, 1988, the Vietnam Association of Construction Engineering issued Decision No. 105 authorizing the establishment of the Specialized Construction Engineering Association for Water Supply and Drainage, the predecessor of today's Vietnam Water Supply and Drainage Association. Since then, June 7 annually has become the traditional day of the Association.
From the early days with 107 members and the Executive Committee of Term I consisting of 31 members chaired by Dr. Le Long, the Association has gradually affirmed its role as a socio-professional organization representing the Vietnamese water sector community. It is not only a gathering place for management staff, experts, scientists, and businesses operating in the field of water supply and drainage, but the Association has also become an important bridge between state management agencies, businesses, and international organizations.
In nearly four decades of development, the Association has made many important contributions to promoting scientific research, technology transfer, human resource training, building professional forums, and strengthening international cooperation. In 1994, the Association became a member of the International Water Association (IWA), marking an important developmental milestone in the integration process of Vietnam's water sector with the international community.
In addition, the Association has also been the initiator and developer of many specialized networking activities, such as regional water supply branches, scientific conferences, water technology exhibitions, and international cooperation programs. These activities have contributed to improving the management and operation capacity of water supply and drainage systems, while simultaneously promoting the application of advanced technological solutions to meet socio-economic development and environmental protection needs.
As an enterprise operating in the field of industrial valves, water industry equipment, and water supply and drainage network management solutions, Saigon Valve is proud to accompany the Vietnamese water sector community on the journey to improve infrastructure system operation efficiency, reduce water loss, and promote the application of modern technological solutions. We deeply appreciate the contributions of the Vietnam Water Supply and Drainage Association in connecting businesses, water supply and drainage units, experts, and managers, creating a united, professional, and constantly innovating professional community.
Towards the National Congress of the Vietnam Water Supply and Drainage Association, Term VII (2026 – 2030), Saigon Valve firmly believes that the Association will continue to promote its pioneering role in connecting knowledge, driving innovation, enhancing the capacity of the water sector, and actively contributing to the sustainable development goals of the country.
38 years – A journey of solidarity, innovation, and dedication to the development of Vietnam's water sector.
